In fact, there is no coffee tree named Culi coffee, but Culi coffee is on the same Robusta or Arabica coffee tree. Culi coffee is a mutant coffee on the tree, At first glance, these two types of fruit on the same coffee tree are very difficult to distinguish. However, if we observe carefully in many seasons, especially when the fruit is ripe, the seeds inside are fully developed, we can also identify them.
At first glance, Culi coffee looks a bit like soybeans, the difference is that Culi coffee is larger than soybeans, heavier and has a longer groove. In particular, soybeans are very round, while Culi coffee is a bit oval, so Culi coffee will be longer than soybeans. Also because of the similar round shape, some people who are not familiar with the look can confuse these two types of beans.
When roasted dark, Culi coffee will have a very deep aftertaste and a very characteristic bitter taste.
In Vietnam, this coffee is often called Culi coffee, in English it is peaberry and in Spanish it is Caracol. Culi coffee is round compared to regular coffee, after processing, the coffee beans will be selected, separated from the normal flat coffees and sold as a separate coffee line.
A cup of coffee brewed with dark roasted Culi coffee will attract you with the smell of herbs mixed with a little woody smell, a slightly bitter taste mixed with a long aftertaste.
Culi coffee that we provide to partners is used for production and distribution as a separate product line or for mixing with other coffee lines, creating a product type with a unique flavor according to the distributor. However, because the taste of Culi coffee is not harmonious when enjoyed alone, we often use it for mixing, except in cases where customers request 100% Culi coffee.
High-class coffee line Culi Robusta has an intoxicating, spreading flavor, and a captivating aroma that captivates pure coffee connoisseurs.
